Unity & Harmony: God’s Plan Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. God’s plan for His church was to see unity, harmony, and one focus: Glorifying God through our Savior, Jesus Christ!
- 3. How Sweet the Harmony of Unity! Rom. 12:16 Be of the same mind . . . Rom. 14:19 So then let us pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another. Phil 1:27 . . . I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind, striving together for the faith of the gospel. “ John 17:22 And the glory which Thou hast given Me, I have given to them; that they may be one, just as We are one;” 1 Peter 3:8 To sum up, let all be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit.

Our witness for our Lord is amplified to the world when we are together in glorifying Him!
- 7. With One Accord, and One Voice! Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus; that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6

- #2: One of the things that many believers struggle to grasp is the Holy Trinity: One God revealing Himself in three distinct parts; Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. And yet, this is God and how He has chosen to reveal Himself. Three distinct and separate parts, yet with complete unity and harmony in how each works. Throughout Scripture, we are reminded to do the same. Paul reminds us that there are “many parts,” but one body: Each having its distinct use and purpose; all working together to accomplish what only the whole body can. The Houston County Ministerial Association is such a body. We come from different backgrounds, different denominations and practices, and yet we come together in voluntary cooperation to accomplish the same goals and objectives, namely to glorify God’s kingdom though the services we provide.
