Editor's Notes

  • #2: As we started building B2B integration capabilities from the ground up, we wanted to ensure we provide a compelling use experience through the full lifecycle of B2B partner management. <Click> Democratize: First of the 4 key pillars of our strategy is to enable and empower the lines of business to have a broader play in B2B. While LoBs have full interest in this process from a revenue perspective, they have always been dependent completely on central IT to make things happen We are enabling an easy to follow low-code experience. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we are taking central IT completely out of the picture - but making LoB have the enablement and empowerment to do things on their own in most common scenarios. <Click> Future Ready: We’re a known leader in the API space and our goal through the B2B strategy is to provide a unified platform offering consistent experience to managing B2B integrations through both traditional EDI and modern API. <Click> Visibility: With the business transactions flowing traveling their entire distance within the Mule ecosystem, we are better positioned to help customers gain better insights of the transactions through the full lifecycle from entry to exit. <Click> Connectivity: Technology evolution is rapid and we see the launch of new Cloud software and system every passing day. Our key goal is to help customers easily connect with both external partners as well as with internal systems through a well defined API-led B2B connectivity approach. Now that we understand the key pillars of our B2B strategy, I will share a bit of history on how B2B integration capabilities have evolved within the MuleSoft platform over the past few years.
