 Working on Marine Project construction of Multi-Purpose Bulk Berth-3 at kattupalli, Chennai, Tamil nadu for Adani Ports
Ltd. Client is Howe India.
 40m wide x 300 m long & 0.5 m thick, two approach trestles with 164 Nos. of Bored cast in situ concrete piles of
1400 mm dia. upto a depth of 60 meter in marine.
 Casting and Erection of Precast Elements like Pile-muff, Long beams, Cross beams, Slabs & service Trenches
 Erection of Cell type Fenders and Horn type Bollards of various capacities
 Utilities, roads, rail yard, container yard, Offices and Installation of Navigational aids
 Total Project Cost: 150 Cr
 Worked on project of Piling and pile cap works for coal handling plant and ash handling plant (inside and outside plant
boundary) for package-2 of 2X660MW sets Ennore SEZ Super Thermal Power Project at Ash dyke of North Chennai TPS,
Chennai, Tamil Nadu, for the consultant BHEL,client Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited
(TANGEDCO).

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Key Deliverables as Field Engineer-(QA & QC)
 Managed successfully overall site and project quality assurance independently.
 Monitoring and reviewing of material, manufacture and material test certificates.
 Studying of Technical specification & Item specifications as per contract requirement, inspecting incoming material and
reporting to Project Manager with details.
 Coordinating with clients for overall activities at site and attending the customer complaints.
 Preparing Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Quality Walk Reports; Developing procedures, Quality Assurance Plans (QAP)
and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
 Initiating Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audit of Internal Projects and timely submission of feedback reports to
Head Office.
 Planning, monitoring of materials & quality records and verifying all internal quality control lab test reports with
standards.
 Ensuring the Quality, testing of materials, grading of aggregates, Batch correction data, complete Q.C. Documentation,
Timely submission of filed signed documents to clients etc.

 Conducting Trial Mix and Design Mix for various grade of concrete and preparing reconciliation for all bulk materials

Bentonite, Cement and Steel and external lab testing conducted in the presence of Consultant/Client for selection and
finalization of construction material.
 Reviewed quality aspects as per ITP; closed RFI’s and maintained required documents per ISO standards.
 Ensured compliance of all concrete mix designs as per various methods descried in IS 10262.
 Minimized wastage through periodical inspections at site and implemented quality improvement methods for
improvisation of concrete quality.
 Prepared check list and ensured quality of RCC and PCC Works.
 Inspected thoroughly all incoming construction materials, tested and accepted as per required standards on site and at
vendor’s premises.
 Coordinated with the clients for activities at Site and with the RMC Plant.
