Youth is a period between childhood and adulthood that comes with many challenges. Some of the key problems young people face include difficulties entering and paying for higher education, finding good jobs after graduation, having productive leisure activities, and risks of substance abuse. Drug dependence can develop from constant drug use and lead users to criminal behavior while damaging their relationships and health.

- 9. And besides, sometimes they have to work to pay for their education.
- 10. Secondly, it is the problem to get the job after graduating from the higher school.
- 11. Everyone wants a job with good conditions and much money, but not everyone has a possibility to get such a job.
- 12. Thirdly, it is the problem of leisure time. Young people like to go to the disco, listen to musiс, to dance.
- 13. In some towns there are not enough youth clubs where young people can spend their free time.
- 14. The majority of young men spend a free time in the street.
- 15. Often teenagers start to smoke and drink, than strongly undermine the health.
- 16. And then the fourth problem appears – drugs abuse, one of the greatest problems of the humanity nowadays.
- 17. After the constant use of certain drugs, some people develop a condition called drug dependence.
- 18. Many people begin and continue using drugs because they want a pleasurable change in their state and mind, but the user’s real problems always remain.
- 19. Many drug users turn to crime to support their habit.
- 20. Drug abuse also damages families and other personal relationships.
- 21. Some of them are in the UK:”The Boy Scouts”,”The Girl Guides”, etc.
- 22. There are some in the USA: “The Young Workers’ Liberation League”, “The National Student Association”, etc.
- 23. Some youth organizations deal with the problems of the environment.
