- 2. Here are Five ways to use the verb “Do/Does” One way is simply as a verb by itself
- 3. Do/Does as a verb by itself. I do the dishes. You do the laundry. She does her homework. We do nothing. They do everything!
- 4. Turn to your partner and say… I do my laundry on Saturday….or My wife does the laundry on Saturday…or My husband does the laundry on Saturday!
- 5. Use do as an infinitive – with another verb I want to do the dishes. She likes to do her homework. They like to do laundry on the weekends. We are going to do the laundry on Monday. We need to do the laundry next week. I have to do the laundry tomorrow.
- 6. Turn to your partner and say… I like to do the dishes…or I hate to do the dishes. I like to do the shopping. I hate to do the shopping. I want to do the laundry. I hate to do the laundry. I have to do the laundry.
