Tamin Lee Connolly is a South African teacher who plans to drive from Dubai through 42 countries around the coast of Africa over 1 year. Her goal is to distribute 5000 laptops from the One Laptop Per Child initiative to students in remote villages in 5 countries - Burundi, Mozambique, Ethiopia, DRC, and Sierra Leone. The laptops aim to expand educational opportunities for children without access. Tamin is fundraising for sponsorship of her expedition and to purchase more laptops through her website.
