                                                     Conclusion

Even in the absence of 10Gbit Ethernet infrastructure for data transmission over the network between the
two LPAR, placed on the same IBM Power Systems, may receive a rate of 1Gbit per second. In the application of
multi-threading - much more than 1Gbit per second.

At the same Virtual Ethernet (run by Hypervisor), inferior to the maximum speed for the internal VLAN-
created on the 1Gbit IVE adapter-e and consumes significantly more CPU resources (due to the implementation of
TCP/IP offload by the CPU).

Therefore, in the absence of 10Gbit Ethernet infrastructure, the most effective solution on the platform of
IBM Power Systems, both from a performance standpoint, and from the perspective of a reasonable (lean) to
use/load of CPU resources that is - Integrated Virtual Ethernet Adapter (IVE).

But ... the latest generation of IBM Power Systems is no longer IVE/LHEA - and it's really bad news.
