All Covered Cloud Servers offer ultra high speed solid-state storage (SSD), high performance SAS storage and cost effective SATA storage in the same platform.You can optimize your performance or reduce costs by implementing one or both types within the same virtual machine.This allows you to run services with intense I/O needs in SAS storage, and use lower cost SATA storage for those services and applications which have lower disk throughput requirements.All cloud storage is SAN-based for optimal performance regardless of drive technology, and includes an automatic backup of your data every 24 hours with a 14-day retention period. Longer retention periods are available for those who need to address compliance and business needs.
