Voice thread instructions for students

VoiceThread Instructions<br />Go to the following website:<br />https://spanishvikes.ed.voicethread.com<br />Login with your username and password<br />Username@spanishvikes.ed.voicethread.com<br />Click on “Create”<br />Then upload all of your photos which you should have already saved on your student school account or put on a jump drive. You could also use a URL to upload.<br />Click on “Comment”<br />You will need a headset to be able to record.<br />First you may need to change a setting on the computer.<br />Double click on the “sound/volume” icon on the lower task bar.<br />If you see a volume control for the front microphone than you are all set.<br />If you don’t see a volume control for the front microphone than you need to click on “options” than “properties”. Select the box “Front Mic” and exit. This should allow you to hear the playblack of you recorded comment.<br />To leave a voice comment:<br />Choose your slide and then in the middle right under the slide are the comment options. You should select record when you are ready to speak. Your voice will be recorded until you select “stop recording”.<br />Currently a few glitches…we will go with the flow here. Please be patient.<br />When finished recording be sure to save your work.<br />* Be sure to save a title to your project….in Spanish<br />*If you made a mistake and want to delete a track do the following:<br />Open your project in the edit mode.<br />As the recording is playing and the section you want to delete is playing you click on the garbage can which appears in the voice bubble. You can only delete entire tracks and not portions of a track. If you made a mistake that you want to correct you’ll have to delete the entire track and rerecord that section.<br />*When your recording is completed to your satisfaction and your project is ready to be graded you will need to share it.<br />In the edit mode choose SHARE and select Spanish III-Period 6 or 8 depending on your class.<br />Then select ALL on the right hand side and send invite.<br />*When finished I would like you to look at your classmates projects. View their slides and comment using the microphone and the text option….all in Spanish please! You need to comment twice with voice and twice with text. If you would like to comment more that is fine…but be sure your comments are constructive.<br />
