This document summarizes discussions from two problem-solving workshops and six telephone interviews with 32 people total regarding barriers to using the Wales Coast Path. 9 key themes were identified: 1) Facilities for all 2) Opportunities for business 3) Community engagement 4) Accessible information 5) Infrastructure 6) Funding and Policy Making 7) Making plans 8) Marketing, communications and branding 9) Geography and environment. Within each theme are summarized specific problems such as providing sufficient restrooms, developing year-round activities, ensuring cell service along the entire path, and creating a consistent brand for the Wales Coast Path.
