Instructional Procedures: The teacher will have a discussion with the class to find out
what they already know about plagiarism. The teacher will present the guiding question
to the class. The students will access the curated resources developed in Symbaloo to
view articles and videos on plagiarism and note taking. Website link:
https://www.symbaloo.com/shared/AAAAB8GzvecAA42AR5E6eQ== . When all of the
students are on the site, the teacher will tell the students to click on the first four tiles.
(The last tile is a website for plagiarism detection that they will not use for this lesson.)
As students view the curated resources on their individual computers, the teacher will
monitor and help students. As the students complete the curated resources, they will
be placed with a partner or small group to discuss what they learned. The groups will
share aloud with the class.
