   Website Content
   Internet is a collection of computers.

   The world connected to each other via a high-
    speed series of networks.

   Files and documents stored on these computers.
   Written in some form of Hypertext Markup
    Language (HTML)

   The computers that store the files are called servers

- Displays Web pages and other documents on the
 Web.
› Different browsers may interpret the HTML of Web
 pages somewhat differently.
     Background color
     Font type
     Font size
     Text and link colors
     Whether or not to download images

Usability

   - Things should be easy to read, easy to
  access and most importantly, easy to
  understand .

    - Design and layout.
      -     Spacing and margins.
      -     Colors and Contrast

    - Dec. Content to avoid cluttering.

    - Learn by Example
Text Do's and Don'ts
   - Don’t use small fonts, Never go below 11px
     font.

  - Size 14px ideal for paragraph’s of text

  - Line-height is very important , makes it
    easier for people to read.
   The focus of the website

   What specific features do you want in the
    website?

   Create a list of sections for your website and
    give them a hierarchy of importance.

   Write out your content.
   Find a style

   Build the website.

   Evaluate the website and make the required
    updates.

   Upload the website.
   Header
    Logo, title and slogan


   Navigation
    Included in all pages
    Not supposed to be in a certain place
   Body
    Three columns


   Footer
     Includes copyrights
     Terms of use
