This is a study guide for the first lecture, and you will receive a similar study guide each week afterward. These sheets are intended to help you take notes and study for exams. The multiple choice questions on the exams will be taken from the “Names and terms” on this sheet; the essay questions on exams will be taken from the “Possible essay questions” here; you will not see any image on a test which is not listed here. You can prepare this outside of class to remind yourself of key points and help you organize possible answers to the essay questions. I very strongly recommend that you take notes in class on the topics mentioned as possible essay questions so that you can prepare a good note sheet. This will help you greatly during the exam.
