- 2. I’m Alexander. I’m fond of playing football, fishing and riding a horse. Hi! I’m Slava. I like reading detective stories and playing computer games.
- 3. School…What a nice word it is! School is an interesting world full of jokes, wonders, smiles, happiness. It is the world of childhood.
- 4. I agree with it, because we spend much time at school. Some people say: We meet our friends and teachers and get new information here.
- 5. She is strict but fair. She is always ready to help her children.
- 6. Our school was built in 1955. At first it was school №1, but now it is №47. Our school is very cosy and nice. It is a two-storeyed building.
- 7. The symbol of our school is the ship with scarlet sails.
- 8. There is a school yard around our school. In summer there are many flowers near the school. There is a little pond here.
- 9. In winter our school yard looks like a small snow town.
- 10. Pupils of our school take part in different competitions. On the ground floor you can see our awards.
- 11. Our school has got a library. It is on the ground floor, too. There are a lot of interesting new and old books in it.
- 12. There are classrooms for children from the first, second, third and fourth forms.
- 13. She taught me to write, to read and to count. She was very kind and patient. I liked my teacher very much.
- 14. Do you want to do sports? Let‘s go to our gymnasium! It‘s very big and light. We have our PE lessons in it. At P.E. lessons we run, jump, pl ay sport games and do physical exercises. Most pupils enjoy P.E. lessons.
- 15. Do you want to eat? Welcome to our dining- room! The dining-room is clean. Here pupils and teachers have dinner. We like to eat different tasty things.
- 16. Let’s go to the first floor. There are many classrooms here. They are Biology, Science, German, Russian and Literature, Mathematics.
- 17. There are two computers classes in our school. At Information Technology lessons pupils learn how to use computers. Our Form Master Natalia Vladimirovna teaches us IT.

- 20. She teaches us to do sums. At Math’s lessons we solve difficult problems.
- 21. She wants us to know and love Russian literature, to be proud at Russian writers. She teaches us to write neatly and correctly.
- 22. At our Russian lessons we do different exercises. And at Literature we read stories of famous writers. Sometimes we act out the stories.
- 23. At our English lessons we learn English words and dialogues, read and act out stories, watch videos, translate texts, do tests and learn poems by heart.
- 24. We read about famous people, speak about writers and read extracts from their books. We learn a lot of facts about English-speaking countries, about traditions and customs of their people. We have English three times a week: on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays .
- 25. I like English because I learn a lot of interesting things. I think it is important to learn English for travel and work, for communication with people. I want to visit England and hope my dream will come true.
- 26. After lessons we organize concerts, parties and celebrate the holidays. We take part in different competitions and win.
- 27. We like our school very much because we learn new things and get smarter. We get good and excellent marks. We have fun during the break and enjoy school parties.
