What does the EU do for Data Journalism?

The European Union does not directly support data journalism, but it does have policies and initiatives that are relevant. These include data policy, which makes some data publicly available and establishes standards. The EU also collects and funds research on data. Finally, the EU aims to build data infrastructure and increase digital skills that can help data journalists.
