- 1. Q6 - WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT TECHNOLOGIES FROM THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTING THIS PRODUCT? AS Media Evaluation Ryan Fernandez
- 2. CAMERAS To take the images used for my magazine I used a high quality Digital SLR camera which produced very large but very clear photographs. This was to insure my images were the highest quality possible to compare to the quality of real media products
- 3. SOFTWARE During this assignment I used Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended and QuarkXPress 9 which are both examples of industry standard software. I used Photoshop to manipulate all my images before importing into the final pages and also to make my entire Cover page. I used QuarkXPress to create my Double Page Spread and Contents Page.
- 4. SOFTWARE - TOOLS An example of me using this software in my magazine has been using the pen tool in Quark to create a small guitar graphic for my double page spread interview. Another example of using these tools would be using the brush tool with a custom brush and custom opacity in Photoshop to create a styled masthead background.
- 5. BLOGS To write up the process of producing my magazine I have used Blogger by Google to record everything I have done This has been either through writing directly onto blog posts for a specific attribute of the process or to use websites such as Prezi or Slideshare to embed media onto the blog itself
- 6. ONLINE SERVICES For the report of my coursework I also used sites such as Prezi (Online Slide Presentation Software) SlideShare (Upload and Embed Powerpoint Files) Scribd (To upload and embed MS Word files) Blogger (To write up my blog) These websites have allowed me to present my coursework using different technologies and make my coursework more interactive.
