There are various reasons women seek abortions. Historically, abortion has been illegal in the Philippines but is still commonly performed. Views on abortion range from conservative positions that it is never permissible to liberal positions that it is always the woman's choice. Later sections discuss methods of abortion, moral arguments on both sides of the issue, and biblical viewpoints.
