Steve Jennings gave a presentation on impact funding and trends. He discussed the need to transform innovation, funding, and execution to work with various partners to build a more sustainable future for all. Data is useless without knowing what you're looking for, measuring, and how you will use it. He presented impact trends around environment, community, equity and empowerment such as 3D printed housing, separating trash from rivers with bubbles, and farming with artificial light. Metrics of success need to shift from extractive and finite to regenerative, thriving and prioritizing humans. An impact business culture revolution is needed to positively impact many people.
