PeopleSoft Campus Solutions customers should upgrade to version 9.2 for the following reasons: 1) It features selective adoption of patches using PeopleSoft Update Manager and a redesigned, fluid user interface optimized for mobile devices. 2) Oracle will end support for version 9.0 in December 2019 so customers must upgrade to 9.2 by then to continue receiving support. 3) Customers who have not upgraded their Campus Solutions application in a while should take advantage of this opportunity to migrate to the latest version, which requires being on bundle 34 of 9.0 from July 2014 or higher.

No furtherrelease of PeopleSoftCampusSolutionwill be there after9.2. PeopleSoftis movingtowarda selectiveadoptionapproachwhichwill remove the needtocreate new releases.Asdiscussedabove,the selective adoptionwillbe managed throughthe PeopleSoftUpdate Managerwhichallowsuserstoselectnotonlywhichupdatesthey’dlike to implement,butalsowhenthose updatesshouldbe implemented. 2. Customerswhohave notupgradedtheirPeopleSoftCSapplicationinawhile canmake use of this opportunitytomigrate tothe latestversion.Toupgrade to CS9.2, customershouldbe minimumon Bundle 34 of CampusSolutions9.0whichwasreleasedonJuly2014 and bundle 25 of HCM9.0. Peopletoolsversionshouldbe 8.53 or higher.
