Doctorate in Business Administration Programme Outline The Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) is designed to guide the participant from initial research idea and conceptualisation to design and execution; through a series of research workshops, and with the support of a specialist mentor. The innovative four year design of the DBA provides the optimum research structure. During Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) there are specialist research workshops. In Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4) participants undertake a cumulative research paper series. Stage 3 involves the production and defence of the DBA thesis.
