Jack Will is the main character of the project. He is August's best friend and part of a "war" between his group of friends and Julian's team at school. Jack is a dynamic and round character who affects the story and is described from his own perspective, not just August's point of view. His family includes his brother Jamie, father John, mother Amanda, and friends August, Reid, Max G., and Max W. while his rival is Julian.
