- 6. Creating your WP account • In your web browser, navigate to http://wordpress.com • Click “Get Started”
- 7. Step 1 • Create your site • Fill in the form with your site details
- 8. Step 2 • Choose site address • Type in the name of your site • Get ideas • Choose the free version which will be your site.wordpress.com

- 10. Step 4 • Create your account information • Use an email you can access tonight
- 11. Verification • Check email for the verification email from WordPress.com with the subject Activate [your username] • Click the button to confirm • A new window should open. Log in to your account • Note: you can use either your email OR your username
- 12. Changing things up • Let’s access your site’s admin dashboard • In your browser navigate to • yoursitename.wordpress.com/wp-admin • eg. my site: caperandmia.wordpress.com/wp-admin • Log in with your username and password • Welcome to the admin dashboard!
