Jessica Skender kept a work log documenting her activities developing and teaching a lesson plan for a class over several months. She began by meeting with her project facilitator to discuss the project. Later visits included observing classroom instruction, developing a calendar time lesson plan, teaching the lesson, and reflecting on the experience of teaching being a good fit for her. Communication with the facilitator was mostly over email which required planning ahead due to different schedules. Overall the project was a positive learning experience.
