The document describes editing a photo for use in a CD inlay. The magnetic lasso tool was used to cut out the image and position it on the page, leaving room for surrounding text. Blurred edges were removed using the magnetic lasso and replaced with a copied section to create cleaner lines. The picture was then repositioned and converted to black and white before adding surrounding text to resemble a message from the artist to fans.

- 2. The magnetic lasso too l was used to cut the image away from the background and then it was positioned in the corner of the page to make room for the surrounding text.
- 3. The image was slightly blurry so to tidy up the edges and add some definition the magnetic lasso tool was used to remove the blurred section. A section of the performers clothing was then copied and placed over what was the blurred section to create cleaner lines.
- 4. Then the picture was re-positioned and then we made the decision to have it black and white. Text will be added to replicate a message to the fans from the artist.
