DTTO Criteria
   Dependant on or has a propensity to
    misuse drugs
   Dependency or propensity is susceptible
    to treatment
   Suitable person
   The seriousness of the offence
   The frequency/pattern of offending
DTTO client group
   85-90% male
   Over 21
   Entrenched drug use
   More than 10 previous convictions

DTTO II
   The DTTO II is a pilot intervention
   Started on the 2nd June 2008
   Extended DTTO to the Justice Courts
   Earlier Intervention
   Limit the damage that drug use does to :-
       Individuals
       The Community
       Society
DTTO II Service Users
   Female - 45-50%
   Under 21 - 15-20%
   Pattern and Type of drug use
   Nature of offending
   Women 20-25% higher completion rate
    than DTTO female counterparts
