Educating a child involves enabling their mental, moral, physical, and social development through teaching as well as explaining reasons and concepts. You cannot teach a child without first educating them through explanation. When teaching language, the order should be oral presentation and practice, then written presentation and practice to mirror the natural order of language acquisition and development. Factors like exposure, practice, difficulties, and encouragement should be considered in the learning process.

You cannot teach anything to a young child without educating him first.
