When writing any essay, I must be organized. When it writing an essay reviewing a book, flash cards are must. I have my quote on one side and then my explanation and transition on the other. I do this for every quote so when it is time for my rough draft to be put together, most of the work is finished; I just have to put them together as numbered. In my senior year of high school, I did an essay on Robert McMcrumb's The Story of English. I had so many quotes that I had to pick certain ones that were the most important.
