The paper presents XDOSER, a benchmarking tool designed to measure system load through denial of service features by simulating an HTTP flood. By creating synthetic loads on servers, XDOSER tests their capacity to handle multiple requests and aims to improve server endurance against potential DDoS attacks. The results showed that XDOSER consistently outperformed other testing tools, achieving a failure-to-success ratio indicating high operational effectiveness, though it also highlighted the need for further development.
