WHAT IS YOUTH EMPOWERMENT MEASURE It is developed by CDA through multi-sectoral consultations As a Tool to Strengthen the Youth Lens in Development Programming, Advocacy and Implementation As a Methodology: How to? Stipulate key data and partnership resource requirements (primary and Secondary sources) Analyze and reviews, based on the framework Increase the value and cost benefit of youth participation in policy advocacy and decision-making It can be used for M & E to promote sustainability Determine spending areas and increase youth-led partnerships
- 3. WHY SHOULD WE MEASUREAND HOW? To ensure that the challenges of decision makers in financing the move from rhetoric’s to action as regards youth and development issues is reduced and actors, proponents of sustainable development and public- private sector based support benefit from new patterns of human development. Young people are central to the sustainable impact of development outcome in the present and future. There is the inter-relationship between participation and the performance and sustainability of public policy and financing.
