- 2. Welcome to Vieau School where children and adults come to learn.
- 4. This is where the English class for adults is held every Monday and Wednesday night from 5:00 to 8:00.
- 7. Everyone works hard and puts forth their best effort.
- 9. Everyone respects one another and when someone does not understand something we work together until they understand.
- 11. Although they are here to learn, we still try to have some fun too!
Editor's Notes
- #4: The Boys and Girls Club provides after school tutoring and activities for the students of the school.
- #6: I will read the words on at a time and have the students repeat the words. I listen to see how their provocation is and correct them if they are not correct. Then I will have them choose a word to formulate a sentence with.
- #7: This activity is a chance for them to practice using their English skills in mock conversations.
- #9: There is a strong sense of community at the school. They all know each other and help each other out if they need help.
- #11: Due to other responsibilities not everyone makes it to every class. These were the people who made it in on a particular day.
- #13: Hopefully they can take the skills they learn in this English class out into their community and share them with others. This will help to improve their lives and the lives of others.
