We thought about whether teenagers (boys more specifically) spend more timeat thegym rather thandoing college/school work. And whether theway you look is more important thanyour educationand qualifications whenit comes to getting a job. These images made us wonder whether we could do a documentarybased ontheidea “Online vs. Outdoors.” Whereour focus would be on whether peopleofBritain, mainly focusing onteenagers, spendmore time inside, onlinethanthey do actually out and aboutwith their friends outdoors. This pieceof artwork made us wonder about whether mental health is more important thangrades. We thought we couldinterview pupils and teachers as well as support staff to findout their opinion on the matter. This imagebroughtout two topics: do images distortour opinions of people and does society changethe way we portray ourselves. This would be quitea personal documentary to thosewho would be involved and theymaynot want to talk about it on camera. However it would be a thoughtprovoking documentary. The cabinet oftrophies madeus wonder whether personal orprivate achievements meant moreto people thanteamones did. We thought we wouldbe able tospeak to people who competedin team and individual sports, as well as other peoplewhoparticipatein team andindependent competitions.
