Pedagogy
The study of the methods and
activities of teaching.
Including the aims of education and the ways
in which such goals may be achieved. The field
relies heavily on educational psychology,
which encompasses scientific theories
of learning, and to some extent on
the philosophy of education, which considers
the aims and value of education from a
philosophical perspective.
Economics
Economics is a social science concerned with the
production, distribution and consumption
of goods and services.
It studies how individuals, businesses, governments
and nations make choices on allocating resources to
satisfy their wants and needs, and tries to determine
how these groups should organize and coordinate
efforts to achieve maximum output.

Industrialization and users are seem very
far away with each other. The
Industrialization of online education is
meaningful.
The industrialization of online education
is just in a beginning period, to do this
the industry standard is necessary.
The idea of interdisciplinary thinking in
this topic is regard online education as a
production. Using the theory in economics
to guide the industrial standard.

Editor's Notes

  • #2: Online Education: How to link Industrialization and Users Student Number: 29206057 Lecturer: XIANGLIN MENG (Lin)
  • #3: Structure Page: Introduce the structure of this slide. Mainly include four parts, that are Disciplines, Problems among online education, merits and demerits, and Conclusion.
  • #4: This page introduces the status of online education: With the data and introduction; Although online technology has risen an interest in obtaining the potential opportunities of accessing education, but most studies just focused on comparing students’ performance in the online learning and the individual learning. This article provides evidence that online education affects the pursuit of educators.
  • #5: Disciplines that involved in the topic, my topic includes two disciplines, pedagogy and economics, which combine with the online education. Pedagogy The study of the methods and activities of teaching. Including the aims of education and the ways in which such goals may be achieved. The field relies heavily on educational psychology, which encompasses scientific theories of learning, and to some extent on the philosophy of education, which considers the aims and value of education from a philosophical perspective. Economics Economics is a social science concerned with the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. It studies how individuals, businesses, governments and nations make choices on allocating resources to satisfy their wants and needs, and tries to determine how these groups should organize and coordinate efforts to achieve maximum output.
  • #6: Online education has the advantages of flexibility and low cost when compared with normal teaching, and it is a method that allow applicants have lower requests to obtain education but have higher quality of education. The core themes of the challenges and opportunities for Open Online Education, they are: 1. Online teaching, 2. support mechanism, 3. assessment, 4. external target groups, 5. educational flexibility, 6. quality of education, 7. institutional reputation, 8. educational efficiency. Also, online education can not only be a method for individuals to obtain knowledge, it can also be a way for students to exchange their idea about the same topic, which means that online education can also be an academic social media among individuals to help them improve and help each other.
  • #7: There are some disadvantages in online education: Lack of accreditation and low quality, little or no face-to-face interaction, Intense requirement for self-discipline, etc.. Many diploma mills are online-only schools that have tarnished the reputation of online education. Despite the potential pitfalls, the vast majority of people are satisfied with their online education and happy that they chose it over traditional classroom education. If you know the positives and negatives, you can make an informed decision whether online learning is right for you.
  • #8: The idea of interdisciplinary thinking in this topic is regard online education as a production. Using the theory in economics to guide the industrial standard. The industrialization of online education is just in a beginning period, to do this the industry standard is necessary. Industrialization and users are seem very far away with each other. The Industrialization of online education is meaningful. Online education is viewed increasingly favorably students, families, and future employers. By overcoming a few hurdles regarding academic quality and trustworthiness, online education should be around for a long time to come.
