  • #4: Nutrition labels are on every thing that we consume. These are one of the most important tools we obtain to enforce a healthy diet. The most important parts to understand: calorie intake and trans fat amount. Calories measure your energy intake and trans fat is something that needs to be avoided in large Amounts.
  • #5: Oils Group: 0-2 Servings per day. This group consists of foods like olive oil, butter, candy, and other sweets. Milk Group: 2-3 Servings per day. This groups consists of foods like cheese, yogurt, milk, and frozen yogurt. Meats & Beans Group: 2-3 Servings per day. This group consists of foods like chicken, salmon, sunflower seeds, and eggs. Vegetables Group: 3-5 Servings per day. This group consists of foods like cabbage, broccoli, carrots, and potatoes. Fruits Group: 2-4 Servings per day. This group consists of foods like apples, bananas, grapes, and oranges. Grains Group: 6-11 Servings per day. This group consists of foods like pasta, bread, cereal, and rice.
  • #6: When you eat right, you have more energy! Your body begins to shut down, or feel sluggish, after the ingestion of high amounts of greasy foods. Skipping meals, eating too quickly, or the lack of fruits and vegetables can cause fatigue and eventual weight gain.
