- 2. VIDYOU Vidyou is a video discovery and service, designed mainly for mobiles and tablets. I’ve designed and developed the iPhone/iPad and Android application for this service, occasionally fixed some bugs on the Rails server side too. The Android implementation of the service is done entirely in Titanium Mobile. Link to App Store here, or Android market here.
- 3. TODAY’S NEWS Today’s News App is a pure news reader that probably deliver the best paper experience on iPhone and iPad. It fetches daily content from the Guardian (UK) and store on your iOS devices for your consumption. Link to App Store here.
- 4. TIN TUC Tin Tuc App is a Vietnamese news reader app, based on Today’s News 2 concept, built solely for my personal consumption and experimenting with a new technology. It is my very first experiment with Titanium Mobile framework. It is until now (2012) still a bleeding-edge technology that reduces development time and cost of iOS/ Android apps to almost only a quarter. Link to App Store here, or Android here.
- 5. LUXTICKET This application was developed within a short period of 2 weeks using Titanium platform. It is a realtime penny auction mobile client for the LuxTicket.SG service, in addition to their website. Titanium is most suitable for this project because of the limited timeframe available and expected development for Android version with minimal cost and effort. Link to LuxTicket.SG here.
- 6. FOTOBOOK Fotobook App is a straightforward photo browsing app for Facebook. Back then, the official Facebook app fails miserably in the photo viewing department. So Fotobook was built for both speed and simplicity. The photos are cached and can be downloaded in batch. With one touch, all your tagged photos can be downloaded into your phone. - 8. IDD CALL IDD Call is a white-labelled application aimed at enterprises with frequently travelled personnels. The application automatically detects and replaces international prefixes of different phone number formats based on the sim-card inserted, allow huge cost saving when dialing overseas and while roaming. It could be used in place of the built-in dialer without special modification to the platform (jailbreak). For more information on deploying the application, please drop me an email directly.
- 9. Size Me Up is a series of 2 applications for a client. The application allows conversion of SIZE ME UP clothes and shoes sizes between the different measurement standards in different countries. Link to App Store here, and here.
- 10. SWEEPSTAKES Sweepstakes Free is a unique hybrid half-game half-utility type of application. The core of the application was developed as a normal application, while several game-like animation was added into the interaction. The application is backed by Ruby on Rails back-end application. Besides the challenge of supporting older iOS 4 and maintaining a 60fps framerate quality, the application also has to handle different timezones and a secured session must be kept, preventing expected abusive use cases. - 11. VAK TEST VAK is the first trial application developed by TGM Studio, a small studio in Vietnam. The application is the training ground for the team, combining development and artistic talents. Link to App Store here.
- 12. E-BOOK PLATFORM The platform is a PDF-based ebook system made for TGM Books’ published titles. It is unique because of its text clarity on both iPhone and iPad screen. Coupled with fast deployment time on existing title and various built-in promotional feature, it is makes a high quality and secured platform for quickly distributing ebooks.
