Habits
Habits and Effectiveness
Habit:
• Habit is a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly and tends to
occur subconsciously. E.g. Smoking, reading, rubbing hands, gaming, handwash etc.
Effectiveness
• Effectiveness is the capability of producing a desired result or the ability to produce
desired output. When something is deemed effective, it means it has an intended or
expected outcome.
• Can habits be adapted cautiously ?
Habits
Knowledge: What do we do and why do we do it?
Skill: How do we do it?
Desire: Motivation to do, want to do

• Smoking, Drinking, reading, playing, singing, travelling, gossip etc.
these are all habit- the more you practice the more you excel in them.
• Story of 2 sons and an alcoholic father
• Our life is made up of the choices we make
• We are responsible for where we are in our life
• We choose to be what we are and what happens to us
• So you got to choose your habits carefully and implement them to
your lifestyle
• The 21/90 rule states that it takes 21 days to make a habit and 90 days to
make it a permanent lifestyle change.
• Commit to your goal for 21 days and it will become a habit.
• Commit to your goal for 90 days and it will become a part of your lifestyle
Effectiveness
• Effectiveness is a balance between
the production and the production
capacity. P/PC
• PC: Always treat your employees as
you want them to treat your
customers.
• Effectiveness lies in balance: produce
willingly, cheerfully with no external
supervision needed. E.g. autopilot
mode
The more you do – the more effective you are, really?
