𝐂𝐚𝐌𝐨 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠 We zijn trots dat Defensie na een intensieve DBM-procedure (Design Build Maintain) het Consortium Cordeel Belgium – CIT Blaton - archipelago architects heeft gekozen voor de realisatie van de nieuwe infrastructuren voor de gemotoriseerde capaciteit (CaMo) in Leopoldsburg. We kijken uit naar een sterke samenwerking met Defensie en onze teamleden Ney & Partners, Ingenium.be, Imtech Belgium en C-Maintenance. Deze infrastructuren ondersteunen de komst van de nieuwe militaire voertuigen (waaronder de Griffon en Jaguar) en combineren militaire veiligheid, efficiëntie, daglichttoetreding en het welzijn van de gebruikers binnen een modulaire en toekomstgerichte architectuur. De omgeving wordt maximaal onthard, met ruimte voor biodiverse groenzones waar regenwater lokaal gebufferd en geinfiltreerd wordt. 👉 Tegen november 2027 worden er 4 nieuwe gebouwen gerealiseerd: 2 opslagcomplexen, 1 onderhoudscomplex, 1 state-of-the-art simulatie- en trainingscentrum. 🤝 Samen bouwen we innovatief aan een robuuste en resiliënte defensie-infrastructuur. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬     Archipelago has presented at CISBAT International Scientific Conferences 2025 the expertise of our R&I colleagues Peter-Willem Vermeersch, Jo Van Hees and Joost Declercq. They’ve worked on a proof of a concept where they tested if building performance simulations can be integrated in a co-design setting for the design of a new office space.

𝐎𝐧𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐧, 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐰𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐩 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐬     Het Postgraduaat Toekomstbestendig Bouwen en Wonen start op 23 september aan de PUC - KU Leuven Continue. De ontwikkeling en uitbreiding van duurzame en inclusieve gebouwen, wijken, steden en gemeenten vormen een grote uitdaging voor vastgoedprofessionals, ontwerpers en beleidsmakers. Het postgraduaat geeft je de nodige tools om na te denken over deze boeiende opdracht en mee vorm te geven aan de transitie. 𝐀𝐙 𝐃𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞 𝐳𝐢𝐣𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐯𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐛𝐞𝐳𝐨𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 ✅   AZ Diest 1ste fase van nieuwe zorgcampus is nu volledig klaar voor gebruik. Het 𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐞 “𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥” 𝐢𝐧 𝐕𝐥𝐚𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧 werd op zondag 31 augustus officieel ingehuldigd in aanwezigheid van minister Frank Vandenbroucke. De eerste diensten zullen vanaf 8 september hun intrek nemen in het nieuwe gebouw. De nieuwe campus omvat onder andere een ondergrondse parking, restaurant, consultatieruimten, een chirurgisch daghospitaal met operatiekwartier met 5 operatiezalen, een bevallingskwartier, kantoren en verpleegeenheden voor pediatrie, materniteit, geriatrie en revalidatie. Om tegemoet te komen aan de vergrijzing van de bevolking is de geriatrische capaciteit bijna verdubbeld en aangevuld met 20 extra plaatsen voor revalidatie. Er is bijzondere aandacht besteed aan 𝐝𝐮𝐮𝐫𝐳𝐚𝐚𝐦𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐝 en het 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐳𝐢𝐣𝐧 van de gebruikers: het gebouw heeft een energieniveau van E56 en is uitgerust met groendaken, geothermische systemen en regenwaterrecuperatie. De natuurlijke lichtinval en het uitzicht op de omringende natuur zorgen voor een aangenamere omgeving voor de patiënten, de bezoekers en het personeel. 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐤 𝐌: 𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐚𝐥 𝐳𝐢𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐮𝐢𝐬 🏥 De werf van AZ Herentals is volop in beweging. In mei ging de bouw van Blok M van start, een van de eerste circulaire en energieneutrale ziekenhuisgebouwen in Vlaanderen. Het nieuwe volume zal onder meer een huisartsenwachtpost, een spoeddienst en bijkomende consultatieruimtes huisvesten.
