#ICYMI: We’re proud to share that our PEDIGREE® Brazil team has been awarded a Titanium Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, one of the highest honours in the creative industry. The award recognises their Caramelo campaign, which was inspired by the insight that mixed-breed dogs in Brazil (known as Caramelos) are 90% less likely to be adopted.  🐶 🐕 With cultural insights at the center and the support of the right local influence, the initiative ignited a national conversation and, more importantly, real action to help more of these dogs find loving homes. But this isn’t just a passion, it’s a public health opportunity. 🐾 That’s why we were proud to host a workshop, "Pets, Policy, and Peace of Mind - The Path to a Healthier Europe You Probably Didn’t Expect", at FoodDrinkEurope’s Ideas Fest, bringing together a range of key stakeholders in Brussels to explore how pets can support healthier, more connected communities. Led by Helen Mills, the discussion featured insights from Dr. Tammie King from the Waltham Petcare Science Institute, Jan Heremans from Dyadis, and Dr. Joni Delanoeije from KU Leuven. Together, they explored the growing body of evidence showing how pets can positively impact mental health, reduce loneliness, and promote wellbeing. We also shared more on our Pets and Wellbeing Study (PAWS) program, the world’s largest, multi-year research initiative focused on the mutual benefits of the human-animal bond.
