  • AI is certainly having its moment, but adoption remains a challenge. According to the Gallagher 2025 AI Adoption and Risk Survey, there’s been only a 10% increase in global AI adoption from 2024 to 2025. That’s telling. The reason? AI in L&D often sounds impressive, but lands abstract to many. Here are 3 use cases that we’ve seen of how AI can help drive impact in learning in pharma: 🔹 Personalized performance nudges 🔹 Searchable, intelligent microlearning assistants 🔹 Predictive insight tagging in training feedback These use cases don’t replace strategy or human insight. They just give teams better starting points and clearer feedback loops. More importantly, they shift the question from “Should we use AI?” to: “How might we use AI to reduce noise and sharpen performance?” That’s the conversation worth having. #PharmaLandD #AIinLearning #Metrix #FutureOfWork #NextGenLearning

  • We’re proud to share our latest article, published in Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN) Focus magazine August issue. We explores how AI-driven training, combined with human touch, can transform the way pharma sales teams build empathy with HCPs. Highlights from the article: • Why empathy is critical for impactful HCP conversations • How AI coaching tools create safe spaces for practice and reflection • Best practices for blending AI insights with human mentoring • The future of empathy as a differentiator in building stronger relationships At Metrix, we believe empathy isn’t just a soft skill, it’s a business driver that shapes trust, decision-making, and long-term impact. 📖 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/g5-QCSM6 #PharmaTraining #Empathy #AIinLearning #Metrix #NextGenLearning #LTEN

  • What’s the strongest indicator that a training program actually worked? We measure engagement. We track completions. But the real test of training is what happens after it ends. When pharma L&D and commercial teams evaluate training success, which of these outcomes carries the most weight? 📊Vote below 👇 Drop a comment if you’ve seen a surprising metric make a difference or one that was misleading. #PharmaLandD #TrainingOutcomes #BehaviorChange #Metrix #NextGenLearning

  • We’ve all experienced it; a training session where the facts were there, but the delivery made them fade into the background. It’s hard to connect the dots.   Now, think back to a time someone told you an impactful story. Were you drawn in? Can you remember how it made you feel? That’s where storytelling makes a difference.   Storytelling evokes emotion, forges connections, and makes scientific content easier to remember and apply, whether it’s clinical data, disease states, or HCP conversations.   Inside the article, ‘Beyond the Facts: How Storytelling Enhances Knowledge Retention’, we share: ‣ The pitfalls of “data dumping” and why facts alone aren’t enough ‣ How narrative design improves retention and learner engagement ‣ Real examples of storytelling in action, like using profiles, escape rooms, and immersive VR ‣ Why emotional connection boosts knowledge transfer and performance   Read the full article → https://lnkd.in/g_inGFz6   #Storytelling #learningretention #pharmalearning #Metrix

  • Still buzzing from all the energy at Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN) conference 2025! Our team had incredible conversations with pharma leaders, who like us, are rethinking what learning can look like in a fast-moving, AI-powered world. At our booth, we explored: - Our new behavior change system and how we can unlock real measurement - How our AI-powered rapid prototyping can transform training delivery - looking at how data quality fuels personalization - What’s next for fast, role-tailored learning in the AI age A huge thank you to Anthony Mancuso, Associate Director, Customer Engagement Skills and Capabilities, Novartis for co-hosting our Learning Lab session with our CEO, Jessica Knox. Our session, "From Overload to Action: Rethinking Field Development", sparked great dialogue. We discussed: - how we leveraged The Fogg Model of Behavior Change - the partnership of building out a training program on account-based selling  - took everyone through a case study on how it works Grateful to LTEN for hosting another phenomenal event, and proud to be a sponsor of the LTEN Excellence Awards. Congrats to all the winners and finalists! #LTEN2025 #PharmaLandD #AIinLearning #Metrix #FieldDevelopment #LearningDesign #PharmaTraining

Pharma L&D isn’t failing from lack of effort, it’s failing from avoidable misfires.   We’ve seen it too often: ➤ Training that’s technically solid, but emotionally disconnected. ➤ Programs launched for business milestones, not learner needs. ➤ Managers expected to reinforce behaviors they didn’t learn themselves.   In high-stakes life sciences learning, intent doesn’t equal impact. That’s why we wrote this: “6 Common pitfalls of L&D in pharma and what to do instead.” 📘 Read the full article → https://lnkd.in/gUrV6BRe   It’s a guide for L&D and brand/ commercial teams to design learning that actually sticks by staying grounded in what your people face every day.   Here’s a preview: ✅ Design from the learner’s lived experience ✅ Prioritize timing and usability over exhaustive coverage ✅ Personalize by role, need, and stage, not a one-size-fits-all model ✅ Design modular, flexible learning ✅ Bring managers in as coaches ✅ Shift from activity metrics to outcome metrics   Let’s build learning that’s timely, targeted, and transformative.   Curious to know which pitfall your organization might be facing right now? What’s really getting in the way of AI adoption? In this short clip from our recent webinar with Cognota, our CEO, Jessica Knox, was asked: “What challenges are you seeing with your customers when it comes to AI?”   Here's what we’ve consistently heard across teams in pharma and biotech: 1️⃣ Lengthy approval processes: Many pharma teams are eager to experiment with AI, but navigating procurement and compliance for new tools can be slow and complex. 2️⃣ Mixed adoption: Some team members are running with it. Others? Not so much. And leaders are unsure how to bridge that divide. 3️⃣ Unclear use cases: Everyone’s heard what AI can do… but the real question is: “What should it do for us?”   If that sounds familiar, you're not alone. The AI maturity curve across L&D and commercial teams is steep but climbable.   📍We’ll be at Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN) Conference 2025 (July 28–31), if you're attending too, we’d like to connect and chat about how teams like yours are navigating these roadblocks. Let’s make AI practical, not overwhelming.   Are you attending? Let us know in a comment, we'd like to connect!   #AIinLearning #LTEN2025 #AIAdoption #Metrix #Cognota
