- 3. Double Negative • Double Negative: When a negative word is used after the main verb, add another negative word, usually “no”, before the main verb. – Carlos no trabaja nunca. • Single Negative: When only one negative word is used, place it before the verb. – Carlos nunca trabaja.

- 10. Agreement • Affirmative Statement – Yo voy al parque. • Yo voy al parque también. Or Yo también voy al parque. • Negative Statement – Yo no voy al parque. • Yo no voy al parque tampoco. Or Yo tampoco voy al parque. (when tampoco is placed before verb, double negative is not used.)
