La visita conferma la collaborazione con il consorzio #EUROfusion che ricopre un ruolo fondamentale perché non solo finanzia il progetto DTT, ma ha anche offerto un contributo cruciale allo sviluppo dell'ingegneria del divertore e dei suoi sistemi di interfaccia. Il suo supporto economico si estende alla realizzazione del divertore stesso. DTT ha siglato un contratto con Kiswire Advanced Technology (KAT), azienda sudcoreana di riferimento nella produzione di fili superconduttori. L'accordo prevede la fornitura di 18,4 tonnellate di strand in Niobio-Stagno (Nb₃Sn), destinati al solenoide centrale e al magnete PF1 della macchina DTT. Gli strand dovranno raggiungere prestazioni estreme: 270 Ampere 12 Tesla 4,2 Kelvin Perdite per isteresi inferiori 500 mJ/cm³ KAT ha già collaborato con grandi progetti come #KSTAR, #ITER e #CERN. Questa partnership conferma l’attenzione di DTT verso standard tecnologici di alto livello e l’apertura verso mercati internazionali per lo sviluppo della fusione nucleare come fonte di energia pulita e sostenibile.
