Blue Water Black Magic An exhibit at the New Zealand Maritime Museum Hui Te Ananui A Tangaroa that explores innovated design, #teamwork, #leadership, success, and a battleground. We are positive there was #mapping involved, and definitely #geospatial considerations. You are free to dive into these #stories when you join us all for a #social conference kick off event, aka icebreaker, on Tue 18 Nov from 6:30pm. This free and casual event is included in your conference registration. Come along. Meet some new people and catch up with familiar faces. Enjoy food and drink. ✨ Welcome to Auspatious, a sponsor of FOSS4G 2025! Supporting open geospatial technologies! Auspatious focuses on data wrangling and infrastructure to build an organised base for your project; software development, again, structure; cloud infrastructure for which there are many options and they know them all; and technical leadership, bring all this together. Founded by Alex Leith GAICD, who also happens to be Co-Chair of this year's global FOSS4G meetup, Auspatious dives into projects of all sizes and, of course, is a champion in the open source geospatial community. ☺️ https://auspatious.com/ Make sure you say 🤝 in Auckland! #geospatial #community #opensource #data #foss4g #global #software #cloud #mentor #coach #organisation

🌟Welcome to Geoscience Australia, a Silver sponsor of FOSS4G 2025! ✨ Geoscience Australia (GA) is a community contributing to tangible outcomes that improve life for everyday Australians, and it has a long history of doing so. The Australian Government organisation is closing in on 125 years and continues to empower it's community to innovate. Overall, it aims to make a positive impact through collective knowledge of all of Earth's systems - geosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and atmosphere. GA actively and continuously participates in a great number of cooperative projects at all levels of government and industry; this includes, as welcome smile for us, acknowledging the value of FOSS. In addition, it also celebrates the next generation with activities like the upcoming #EarthScienceWeek. Geoscience Australia's remit also extends beyond the Australian landmass to Australia's vast marine jurisdiction. Their projects, partners, and impact are impressive and too numerous to list off in this post so please have a read here: https://www.ga.gov.au/ Be sure to say hello to GA representatives at FOSS4G 2025 this November. #geoscience #geospatial #earthscience #australia #data #informed #community #digitalearth #mapping
