Hello! I’m Ayla, a certified TEFL teacher from Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve completed a 120-hour TEFL course and have hands-on experience as a tutor. I love creating a calm, encouraging space where students feel confident to learn and express themselves.

I'm passionate about for health, wellness, and natural living, and I enjoy bringing real-life topics like travel, self-care, and culture into my lessons. I have experience teaching both in homeschool settings and online classrooms, where I designed and delivered personalised lessons tailored to each student's learning style and pace. I taught core subjects such as reading, grammar, vocabulary, and writing, using creative and interactive methods to keep lessons engaging and effective.

I'm a certified TEFL teacher and a native English speaker with a strong academic background, having completed my high school education through Cambridge International. My teaching methodology is student-centered, blending structured language instruction with fun, practical activities like storytelling, games, and real-life conversations.

Ayla is an absolute life saver! 5 stars is not enough to describe how great of a tutor she is. I would give her 10 stars. She is extremely smart, helpful, and a great communicator. She is helping me a lot and I honestly look forward to future tutor lessons with her. I would definitely, definitely recommend working with her. I can not thank her enough for all her help. Classes with her have been so worthwhile! Ayla has an amazing way of breaking things down so that they are understandable, and always keeping it light and fun.
