    Activities and Societies: Thesis Title: Assessing Locally Led Anticipatory Action Options to Counter Climate-Induced Humanitarian Crisis in East Africa.

    Under the supervision of Dr Fiona Borthwick, Prof Alan Duncan, Joanne Grace (Save the Children UK), and Dr Guyo Roba (ICPALD), my PhD investigates the early warning, weather, and climate information services used by pastoralist communities in the Horn of Africa. Hard realities like loss of income, job insecurity, stalled education, food shortages and lack of cleanwater, force us to explore unique ways to cope. While we cannot always prevent such impacts, we can be better prepared.
