The energy landscape is evolving rapidly. As the need for reliable, low-cost power grows, so does Apex’s momentum. ⚡ Our new Impact Report highlights how we commercialized 1.7 GW of new energy capacity last year while funding nearly $2.5 million in community and conservation efforts nationwide—creating lasting value for our partners as well as the counties and ecosystems in which we operate. From integrating onsite vegetation management and pollinator-friendly practices to investing in workforce development and the economic prosperity of our project areas, we’re building resilience into everything we do. So proud to be part of a team that cares about the community and responds in the time of need 🫶. I’ll gladly brag about them any day. 👏 After a 25-foot section of road was washed out from the heavy rainfall (see pictures in the news article), the construction team jumped into action. They replaced the culvert and had the road fully repaired in less than 48 hours —making sure families could safely get to and from their homes again. Incredible work by genuinely caring people. 🥹❤️ Mountain Crane Service Faulconer Construction Apex Clean Energy ⭐️
After a heavy rainstorm caused damage in Botetourt County, something truly remarkable happened—not because it was required, but because it was the right thing to do. This crew—our partners at Apex Clean Energy, Mountain Crane Service, and Faulconer Construction—stepped up to help repair a privately owned roadway that was never part of their scope. No headlines, no press releases, just neighbors helping neighbors. And we are honored to witness it. They didn’t have to fix it. They chose to. At Oya, we always say that construction is more than concrete and soil—it’s about people. And when you work with teams who believe in being good stewards and better neighbors, the impact goes far beyond the job site. We’re so proud to be part of this project and grateful to work alongside folks who lead with integrity, action, and heart. https://lnkd.in/eDpwCypr #Teamwork #CommunityFirst #ConstructionWithHeart #StormwaterStrong #BotetourtCounty #OyaConstruction #CivilWithSoul

Last month, we marked a major milestone in Piatt County, Illinois: the ribbon-cutting for Prosperity Wind, Apex’s fifth operational wind facility in the Prairie State. ⚡ Now delivering 300 MW of resilient power, Prosperity Wind represents a $500 million investment in the area. Over its lifetime, the project will generate more than $93 million in local tax revenue—supporting essential services, expanding broadband access, and fueling economic opportunity across the region. Thank you to our project partners and local stakeholders for helping bring this project to life.

It’s always a bittersweet time—our summer associates have been with Apex only briefly, and yet they’ve made a lasting impact on our team. As they move on to the next experience, we’re grateful to have been a part of their path toward building a more resilient and sustainable future. Hear directly from five of this year’s cohort about what keeps them inspired, motivated, and driving forward the shift to clean energy. Thank you to Aisha, Andrew, Katherine, Stepan, Cindy—and all of Apex’s summer associates—for the incredible work you’ve done these past few months. #LifeAtApex

At Labyrinth Training Center, a nonprofit that helps people build social skills by connecting them with rescued horses, Apex Associate General Counsel J. Hess has seen firsthand the value of honesty. Horses teach you how to be in touch with what you’re feeling—helping you find the tools to face challenges with integrity, compassion, and a clear purpose. Partners like the Monarch Joint Venture enable us to deliver on our commitment to sustainability and support the well-being of the ecosystems and habitats surrounding our projects. It’s an honor to receive this recognition, and we look forward to continuing to work with MJV to deliver conservation outcomes that benefit our people and our planet.
We’re thrilled to recognize Apex Clean Energy with the Habitat Hero Award, presented in June at the 2025 North American Monarch Summit! Apex Clean Energy has made habitat restoration a meaningful part of their renewable energy work. Since 2021, their Conservation Grant Program has distributed over $3 million in funding, leveraged over $18 million in matching donations, and contributed to the restoration and protection of approximately 4,420 acres of land. In addition to supporting large-scale conservation efforts, it has also backed unique, localized environmental initiatives. Thank you for championing habitat at scale! 🦋 @apexcleanenergy #MonarchSummit2025 #MonarchConservation #PollinatorPartners #ConservationAward

In Tom Green County, Texas, Angelo Solar is powering more than just the grid—it’s strengthening the local economy. ☀️ During construction, the project employed hundreds of workers and drove business for nearby vendors, hotels, and restaurants. Now that it is operational, the facility will support long-term O&M positions for decades to come. This kind of economic development builds momentum—creating near-term employment, lasting infrastructure, and opportunities that help rural communities prosper.

America’s energy future depends on projects that deliver for both the grid and local communities. Together, Prosperity Wind, Downeast Wind, Great Kiskadee Storage, and Angelo Storage add more than 625 MW of capacity while delivering nearly $150 million in economic impact to communities across Texas, Maine, and Illinois—providing resilient, low-cost power to meet America’s growing demand. All four facilities reached commercial operations in the first half of 2025, bringing Apex’s total operational and construction portfolio to more than 3 GW. ⚡

Michigan is accelerating toward a more sustainable energy economy—and we’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Barton Malow to help bring that vision to life.
Check out the progress of Apex Clean Energy’s Coldwater Solar project! Located in Branch County, Michigan, this 1,110-acre site will produce 150 megawatts of alternating current (MWac) and power the equivalent of 28,000 homes annually. We’re proud to help contribute to the growth and sustainability of the clean energy sector in Michigan and beyond.
