Timothy Luchini (CEO, Intramotev) on what would actually make U.S. rail competitive again: “To make rail better, you just need to keep the stuff on the rails moving more frequently.” “We do not need to rebuild anything, we need to unlock the existing network and uncongest it. That alone can make rail extremely competitive.” “Regulators have been very open to these technologies.” Intramotev is deploying in unregulated segments first, collecting the data needed to certify for regulated use cases, then bringing those capabilities onto the broader system. Today, history was made as elite athletes from across the company gathered to compete in the inaugural Intramotev Olympiad! Events included a paper airplane flying contest, the MarioKart Grand Prix, the fiercely contested “TugVolt of War,” and high-stakes noodle tower engineering. Thanks to everyone on the team who came out and competed. It’s a good thing we all have day jobs.
