Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) is Work Package 2 Lead 🌊 Based in Thessaloniki, Greece, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) supports SURIMI by providing high-quality biodiversity and #fisheries data and developing ecological models that reflect real #marine dynamics. 🌍 With expertise in #StockAssessment, #EcosystemModeling, and #FisheriesManagement, Athanassios Tsikliras, Sofia Manousi, Maria Lazarina and Kostantina Michailidou ensures SURIMI’s simulations are scientifically robust and based on EU-wide data. European Marine Board is SURIMI’s Work Package 1 lead🌊 Based in Ostend, Belgium, the European Marine Board IVZW plays a key role in SURIMI by ensuring the toolbox is #CoDesigned with stakeholders to meet real user needs and deliver meaningful, real-world impact. NORCE Research is SURIMI’s project coordinator 🌊 Based in Bergen, Norway, NORCE Norwegian Research Centre AS leads SURIMI with expertise in socio-ecological modelling and stakeholder engagement. Patrycja Antosz is the SURIMI coordinator and leads NORCE’s Center for Modeling Social Systems (CMSS). Together with Timo Szczepanska and a multidisciplinary team, they bring unique expertise in social simulation using #AgentBasedModeling, particularly multi-agent artificial intelligence #AI modeling.
