✨ Giving Thanks to the Dream Team that made it all Happen!✨ We want to extend our deepest gratitude to this year’s International Tax Student Case Competition Steering Committee Members – Laura Gheorghiu, Erin Fuchs, CPA, and Lionel Nobre for their incredible contributions and hard work. A special thank you goes to the Chair of the Steering Committee, Josephine (Josie) Scalia, whose leadership, creativity, and passion for this initiative have guided the competition to new heights. Additionally, TEI’s Executive Director Pilar Mata, and Events Coordinator, Jentry W. added valuable guidance and support to round out the Dream Team! Lastly, a special thanks goes to Patrick Boyle , who served as both a speaker and judge. On July 25, 2025, TEI submitted additional comments on the proposed regulations for the corporate alternative minimum tax ("CAMT"). The Tax Reform Task Force, whose chair is Andreia Verissimo, in coordination with TEI Tax Counsel Kelly Madigan, spearheaded the comments. The letter reiterated several of TEI's prior comments on CAMT and included a new recommendation for an adjustment to AFSI for stock-based compensation.
