Who we are Guardian makes a difference in the lives of people when they need us most. With over 160 years of stability and fiscal integrity, we are a trusted resource to generations of families and business owners, inspiring well-being and helping build financial confidence. Today, we stand behind 29 million consumers, helping them prepare and plan for a bright future for themselves and their families. We help business owners care for their employees. And we help people recover and thrive in times of unexpected loss. As a modern mutual insurance company, we believe in driving value beyond dividends. We invest in our colleagues, are building an inclusive and innovative culture, and are helping to uplift communities through thoughtful corporate impact programs. What we stand for In 1860, a community of immigrants joined together to insure and protect their businesses and families. They were guided by powerful ideals that we’ve continued to stand behind and evolved throughout the years: we do the right thing, we believe people count, we courageously shape the future together, and we go above and beyond for the people we serve. Guardian employees embrace and live by these values every day. They remind us to put people at the heart of all we do so that we can help protect what matters most to you. Want to help bring these values to life? Join us for a rewarding career and the opportunity to shape the future. According to Guardian’s recent Mind, Body, and Wallet® report, retirement-related concerns are the top financial stressors keeping Americans up at night. Fortunately, the right tools and strategies can make a difference. Annuities are a valuable option to consider—offering portfolio diversification, potential protection against market loss, and tax-deferred growth. Discover the different types of annuities and how working with a financial professional can help support your mental, physical, and financial well-being. https://lnkd.in/g6vr7nSJ

New Guardian research reveals a powerful link between women’s financial confidence and their mental and physical health. From single mothers to caregivers, women are navigating a fiscal tightrope: 58% say they’re just making ends meet or struggling to keep up, while only 29% feel well-equipped to personally manage their finances. It’s time to rethink how we support women — at work, at home, and in the financial decisions they make every day.

At Guardian, well-being at work includes the moments that bring us together. Sometimes it’s a quick game between meetings or cheering each other on during a friendly competition. This year, more than 175 colleagues from Guardian India joined the Indoor Gaming Championship 2.0. Over two weeks, they competed in table tennis, carrom, foosball, chess, and sudoku. Every match-up was a chance to build community through teamwork and fun—a great reminder that small moments can make a big impact.

Guardian Life reposted this
When asked to define what "well-being" means to them, a majority of Americans say having strong mental and physical health. However, our research at Guardian shows that properly managing one's finances is critical to reducing stress and maintaining good physical health. Unfortunately, just three in 10 Americans self-report good financial health, with retirement-related concerns most often keeping them up at night. The encouraging news is there are steps individuals can take to build financial confidence and, in turn, unlock their overall well-being. I’ve shared some of my thoughts in the article linked below. https://lnkd.in/e8eSC8S8

“We’re looking toward a world where sport is just sport.” – Abbey Phillipson, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Adaptive Sports & Fitness Program at the University of Michigan. Guardian was proud to support athletes at this year’s Hoopfest and the Miller Family Open as part of the Adaptive Student Athlete Program, a collaboration between Guardian and the University of Michigan’s Adaptive Sport and Fitness program. Thanks to all the Guardian colleagues who volunteered and congratulations to all the athletes, coaches, and staff from the participating adaptive athletics programs across the country. From photo finishes on the track to fast breaks on the court, every moment was a powerful reminder that athletes of all abilities can engage in competitive sport if provided the access and opportunity to do so. 📸 Connor Titsworth, Hector Aizon, Sean Campbell
