Base pay range
LHH is currently partnering with a leading global technology company in the DC area to hire a professional and personable Receptionist to join their team. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity scheduled to begin in mid-September, with interviews taking place immediately. The role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and requires onsite presence five days a week. The position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $20 to $21, based on experience, with the potential for long-term employment and growth within a global organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a warm, professional first impression to employees, partners, and international visitors
- Coordinate and order catered lunches for meetings and visitors
- Support occasional meeting scheduling and conference room bookings
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and inviting reception and breakroom area
- Assist with clerical tasks such as mail merges, tracking lunch spend in Excel, and vendor communications
Note: This is an internal-facing role—no customer traffic, but you will interact with visiting corporate teams and partners. A strong focus on hospitality is key.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a receptionist, hospitality, or administrative support role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
- Experience with SAP or familiarity with mail merges is a plus
- U.S. citizenship or permanent work authorization required
