Knightsbridge Restaurant Group is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our team at Annabelle to assist the GM and AGM in managing all facets of the FOH and operations with an focus on events. The Restaurant Manager will continue to build a better brand with the best management and staff by constantly improving our food and service while focusing on our our guests and providing unparalleled hospitality. This position requires flexibility and a wide range of hospitality, service and business acumen. The Restaurant Manager actively embodies, inspires and teaches skills that will elevate the core values of our company.
Key Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
Specific knowledge of Purchasing, Receiving, Maintenance, Inventory, Cash handling procedures and controls
Direct supervision of the front-of-house employees on a daily basis, ensuring policies and processes are being followed and inspecting operational flow on a continuous basis.
Responsible for overseeing the floor during service and events; ensuring the team stays on task and delegating assignments as needed.
Communicate with chef team and BOH on keeping menus up to date and 86'd items throughout service if necessary.
Ensure guest satisfaction; interacting with guests and engaging in service recovery when issues arise.
Comply with HR practices and policies and hold employees accountable for all standards and procedures including interviewing, onboarding, and training new employees
Proactiveness in reaching our Company goals in sales, service, appearance; while creating a positive, fun and productive working environment.
Ensure compliance with department of health standards, maintaining superior cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant.
Computer literacy with knowledge in managing Point of Sale Systems, Reservation Systems, Restaurant Management Software, HRIS and Recruitment Software
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Promote and Sell event spaces for the restaurant group and oversee booked events with operations
Maximize event revenue when determining menus, offering menu upgrades
Support events department in managing all incoming event inquiries
Correspond and maintain leads/inquiries from Tripleseat, Outlook, and all/any other platforms and must ensure follow up on the same business day
Prepare, communicate & post weekly BEOs relating to the event to ensure a smooth and efficient execution
Coordinate all administrative event details with client from inquiry to close including but not limited to negotiating, executing proposals, contracts, ensuring client payment in full, developing floor plans, rental orders, and post event follow-up
Coordinate all logistical event details from planning to execution, including site inspections, tastings, vendor meetings, COI paperwork, and day-of onsite client
Responsible for BEOs, Menu Cards, Event Details, Itemized Bills, Resy syncing, taking & logging deposits and final payments, managing specific client event needs, event administrative paperwork, noting in reservation system, and keeping all information up to date for all departments.
Conduct on-site visits with clients
Greet host/clients on site at the beginning of an event to ensure total client satisfaction and adjust last minute requests
Prepare documents needed for staff to review during event preshift
Create menu cards, escort cards, and place orders for kosher meals, rental lists, floral, balloons etc.
